I created this song after a story I heard from one of my students. His humbleness and struggles reminded me of this poem written in Mayan, his native language. I then went ahead and made the music and vocals for this wonderful lyrics by Jorge Miguel Cocom Pech, a Mayan writer. I hope you enjoy it!
